Soil erosion is an occurring problem for many places around the world including our own land. Soil erosion can occur due to obsessive rain fall causing the soil to gradually diminish. This can be either a minor or a serious problem. In the picture above it is only a minor problem. The rain fall is causing the soil to slide down the hill creating canals for the water to flow. In some cases, erosion can take place on steep mountains causing mud slides down toward cities. This can be a disaster to homes, and cities possibly taking life’s.
There isn’t much we can do about Mother Nature but sit back and watch unless we figure out a way to stop the erosion. Some places will be easier to stop it than others. One way is by knowing how to control your runoff. Another is by covering land up when there is heavy rain to prevent it from shifting.
